The Financial Times’ LGBTQ+ employee network, Proud FT, celebrated Pride Week in London with a series of activities to help raise awareness and more than £1,000 in cash for Albert Kennedy Trust, which fights LGBTQ+ youth homelessness.
Proud FT is one of many thriving diversity initiatives at the FT. It works to cultivate an environment that makes LGBTQ+ colleagues feel empowered and free to be themselves at work.
The network collaborates closely with InterMedia to connect LGBTQ+ networks from across the media industry, including the BBC, Channel 4, ITV, Viacom, the Guardian and the Telegraph.
