1 May 2019: This week Madison Marriage received the honour of Business Journalist of the Year at the 2019 London Press Club Awards.

Judges described Madison’s investigative work of the Presidents Club charity fundraiser as “a great story, brilliantly pursued”. Madison was recently named Business and Finance Journalist of the Year at the 2019 British Press Awards, along with Matthew Garrahan, for their reporting on reporting on Martin Sorrell’s departure from WPP.

The FT was highly commended as Daily Newspaper of the Year, for “its comprehensive coverage across the news spectrum”, judges commented.

The London Press Club Awards aim to ‘celebrate brilliant journalism’ and the protection of free speech throughout the world.
