The Financial Times is expanding the availability of its award-winning FT Weekend print edition in the United States, launching distribution across South Florida from Sunday, 21 June.
Readers across South Florida, including Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach, will be able to purchase FT Weekend every Sunday at more than 350 retail locations throughout the region, while subscribers will also have access through home delivery.
FT Weekend brings together the FT's distinctive global perspective and agenda-setting journalism, alongside HTSI, the FT's luxury lifestyle magazine, which is included as a supplement 42 times a year.
The expansion follows significant growth in FT print subscriptions in the US over the past five years, underscoring strong reader demand nationwide for the FT’s weekend journalism and print products.
“We're seeing strong demand for the FT in print across the United States,” said Matt Fottrell, Chief Reader Revenue Officer & US President at the FT. Our readers value the depth, authority and perspective that FT Weekend offers, and the opportunity it provides to spend time with the stories, ideas and analysis that matter most.
“Expanding the availability of FT Weekend reflects our commitment to serving readers wherever they choose to engage with our journalism. For many readers, FT Weekend is a valued part of their weekend ritual — time set aside to immerse themselves in our journalism, reflect on the week and discover something new.”
