25 November 2020: The Financial Times has been named the most influential media brand in Brussels in the BCW Brussels and Savanta ComRes EU Media Poll, announced today.

The annual study tracks the media and social media consumption of EU influencers, including MEPs, EU institution staff and Brussels opinion formers, to determine the news sources shaping decision-making in Brussels.

Four in five EU influencers consider the FT ‘very’ or ‘fairly’ influential, citing the FT’s level of expertise, quality of journalism and its positive reputation as reasons for their decision.

The EU Media Poll has surveyed EU decision-makers since 2016 and covers English-language publications as well as social media channels.
