Capture, an FT Film starring Jodie Whittaker, Paul Ready and Shaniqua Okwok, was the winner in the Multiplatform Series category at the prestigious Rose d’Or Awards on Monday evening. The awards recognise exceptional talent from across the international television industry.

The 15 minute short film, directed by FT head of new formats Juliet Riddell, explores the lack of regulation for children’s welfare online and who is responsible for their safety.

Juliet Riddell said: "I am thrilled that the FT has won this award for our drama, which showcases creative storytelling from the heart of the FT newsroom. We hope that Capture can contribute to keeping the issue of protecting the welfare of children online in full view."

Capture was released in February this year at an exclusive premiere held by the FT at the BAFTA 195 Piccadilly in London. Guests included figures from politics, tech, business, media, education and campaigning organisations.
