Greg Callus is a barrister at 5RB specialising in media, technology and information law. After degrees at the University of York, he took a second MA at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in New York as a Fulbright Scholar, then studied at City Law School while working at The Guardian.
He was called to the Bar by Lincoln’s Inn in 2012, completing his pupillage at 20 Essex Street, before spending 2013/14 at the Royal Courts of Justice, first as Judicial Assistant to the Rt. Hon. Sir Brian Leveson, President of the Queen’s Bench Division, and then as acting Legal Adviser to the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Rt. Hon. The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd. He is also studying for a part-time PhD in conflicts of law and digital technology at UCL, funded by the Engineering Faculty and the Centre for Ethics and Law.
