What does a typical day as a customer success manager look like?

My role is all about engagement: understanding my clients, their needs, stakeholders involved, and finding ways to add value to their daily life and their decision-making. What I love about this is its fast pace, but defined by me.

What project are you most proud of?

I am most proud of a collaboration that came to fruition this March. I started building a very good relationship with a new client and a senior stakeholder, which prompted her to trust me with a collaborative project. It is lovely to know that collaboration is possible through relationship-building, instilling trust and a great sense of quality. 

If you had to describe the FT culture in three words, what would they be?

Family, values, traditional.

What has been your favourite volunteering experience at the FT?

I enjoyed volunteering for Dress for Success, which is a charity supporting at-risk women to get back into the workforce. I have been volunteering for more than 15 years, so I know how important it is to step outside of one’s shoes and give time and help. I think it is amazing that the FT makes it so easy to support charities and gives employees two paid days a year for volunteering. I am proud to be working for the FT!
