The FT has scooped two International Building Press Awards:
- Investors Chronicle associate editor Claer Barrett won the IBP Business and Financial Journalist of the Year prize, for her article on an expose on the return of defunct property club Inside Track, breaking the story that Bradford & Bingley was suing hundreds of solicitors who signed off risky buy-to-let loans, and a further investigation into the failure of property recovery funds to raise cash.
- The FT’s Dan Thomas won the News Reporter of the Year Category for several stories, including his coverage of RBS considering a private sale of the Priory Group Sale and articles about the Candy brothers and Qatari royals.
