How To Spend It has launched The Sharpener, a new men’s style column written by seasoned style commentator and stylist Tom Stubbs.

Comprising a double page spread in the magazine, with a dedicated space on howtospendit.com, the column will cover everything from trends in men’s tailoring and accessories to where to buy the finest sartorial items around the world.

The column will appear in A Passion for Fashion, How To Spend It’s 128-page fashion-themed issue in tomorrow’s FT Weekend newspaper, but those who can’t wait can take a look online now.

Gillian de Bono, editor of How To Spend It, said: “The Sharpener follows the success of our first themed men’s style section, Wise Guise, which appeared last October and is now bi-annual. The current renaissance in men’s tailoring, and strong global growth in men’s wear in general, makes the column a natural fit for an internationally distributed magazine with a high proportion of male readers. Tom has an astute eye and immaculate taste which is completely in tune with this affluent, discerning readership.”

Tom Stubbs is a men’s fashion editor, stylist and writer whose work has appeared in GQ, The Spectator, Maxim, The Quarterly Magazine, The Rake and assorted national newspapers.
