Last night the Financial Times’ environment correspondent Pilita Clark won the Environment Story of the Year award at the Foreign Press Association’s (FPA) Media Awards 2014. She was recognised for her series A World Without Water, looking at how businesses and people are having to adapt to rising water costs and poorly managed supplies around the world.

Dedicated to excellence in the journalism, the FPA Media Awards, now in their fifteenth year, are among the most prestigious for journalism in the world.
