21 June 2018: The Financial Times has launched a new service called Enterprise Tools, designed to help business, government and education customers make better use of FT.com within their organisations.
Enterprise Tools enables the administrators of an organisation’s FT group subscription to manage users, provide content recommendations and access usage data, all through a self-serve portal. Groups can be set up for departments or teams to ensure that content is relevant for their different needs.
Enterprise Tools is part of a range of solutions developed by the FT to support institutional customers. Single sign on gives readers fast, frictionless access to FT platforms, and APIs provide customers with direct access to the FT content database, so they can integrate the FT into CRM and intranet systems and power new applications.
“More than 500,000 readers access FT.com via group subscriptions, paid for by their organisations. Enterprise Tools is designed to help those organisations understand the trends and issues in their markets by making it easier to alert different teams to relevant FT insight and analysis,” said Caspar de Bono, B2B managing director.
