10 October 2017: The Financial Times has named Izabella Kaminska (@izakaminska) head of Alphaville, the FT’s award-winning financial markets blog. She replaces Paul Murphy who was recently appointed editor of the FT’s investigations team.

Kaminska has spent the last nine years working for Alphaville as a financial blogger. Prior to that, she worked as a producer at CNBC.

For over a decade, FT Alphaville has provided finance professionals with an innovative blend of commentary and news. In addition to traditional reporting, the site features real-time markets updates, a weekly podcast, Alphachat, and a newly relaunched document library and discussion forum, The Long Room.
