Financial Times relaunches FT Privilege Club

London: The Financial Times has announced that it is to relaunch FT Privilege Club on 1 November 2010, rewarding the loyalty of premium subscribers in the UK and Continental Europe with further exclusive offers from some of the world’s most premium brands as well as additional editorial content.

First launched in 2006, FT Privilege Club, which currently has 50,000 active members, will now extend its offering to include premium subscribers as well as newspaper subscribers. The average elite member has an investment portfolio of £650,000 and 12% are sterling millionaires.

To celebrate the relaunch, the FT Privilege Club has teamed up with Visit London to offer its members the chance to win a reservation at what is due to be the hottest table in town – a meal for six at the Chef’s table at ‘Dinner by Heston Blumenthal’ – at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park on its opening night.

Ben Hughes, FT’s Global Commercial Director and Deputy CEO, said: “The newly upgraded FT Privilege Club is a great way for us to give extra benefits to our newspaper and premium subscribers.  We hope that the enhanced site features and sought-after offers will provide added value for these dedicated and loyal readers, as well as provide new sponsorship and advertising opportunities that allow partners to reach out to the Financial Times’ premium audience.”
