NEW YORK:The Financial Times announces today the launch of Luxury 360, a subsection of FT.com that will house all FT news, analysis and special features related to the luxury industry, broadly defined.

Edited by Vanessa Friedman, fashion editor for the FT, the site will aggregate the FT’s day-to-day coverage of high fashion, retail, arts, travel, yachting and automobiles, real estate, food and wine, as well as content from FT Weekend, conferences, special reports and exclusive online features such as the daily fashion show reviews, Material World blog and interactive slideshows.

Vanessa Friedman commented: “As worldwide luxury consumption continues to surge, consumers and professionals are becoming increasingly confused by a growing number of sources that cover only limited aspects of this $80 billion dollar industry. Luxury360 will provide a one-stop source for information from the runway, the boardroom, and the backrooms, emerging and traditional markets, as reported by the world’s sharpest observers of the sector.”
