Financial Times honoured with eleven awards at the 2013 LSL National Property Press Awards

The Financial Times has been honoured with eleven awards at the 2013 LSL National Property Press Awards, which celebrate the top achievements of property journalists from across the UK. This is the most given to any one news outlet in 2013.

Stephen Wilmot of Investors Chronicle was recognised for his outstanding work in 2012 with four individual awards, including International Property Journalist of the year and Overall Property Journalist of the Year. FT publications were commended in the following categories:

  • International Property Journalist of the Year – Winner: Stephen Wilmot, Investor’s Chronicle

  • Overall Property Journalist of the Year – Winner: Stephen Wilmot, Investors Chronicle

  • Property Journalism’s Rising Star – Winner: Stephen Wilmot, Investors Chronicle

  • Lifestyle/Interiors Property Writer of the Year – Winner: Kate Watson Smyth, Financial Times

  • Consumer Mortgage Writer of the Year – Winner: Tanya Powley, Financial Times

  • National Newspaper Property Supplement of the Year – Silver: House & Home, Financial Times

  • Property Columnist of the Year – Silver: Stephen Wilmot, Investors Chronicle

  • Sustainable Property Journalist of the Year – Silver: Avantika Chilkoti, Financial Times

  • Property Staff Writer of the Year – Bronze: Tanya Powley, Financial Times

  • Architectural Writer of the Year – Bronze: Jonathan Foyle, Financial Times

  • Best Online Editorial of the year – Bronze: Edwin Heathcote, FT Online
