Keynote addresses from James Curleigh, Frederic Cumenal, and Brunello Cucinelli

The Financial Times will host its 12th annual Business of Luxury Summit 22-24 May 2016 at the Ritz Carlton, San Francisco. Co-chaired by FT editor Lionel Barber and fashion editor Jo Ellison, the event will gather the world’s leading artists, economists and executives to discuss how technology has changed the global luxury market.

The US west coast has led the technological revolution and is an ideal setting to explore the impact of automation on creativity. As manufacturing methods evolve, speakers and delegates will explore how luxury brands are redefining themselves in an era of ‘see now, buy now.’

Lionel Barber said: “Technology has changed what luxury means to the modern consumer, forcing brands to rethink how they engage with their customers. At the FT Business of Luxury Summit, industry leaders will debate the role of creativity and craftsmanship in an increasingly automated world, particularly in US and Asian markets.”
