The Financial Times reveals a new line-up to its technology, media and telecoms editorial team in London. Robert Cookson now assumes the position of digital media correspondent covering digital enterprise in UK media, technology and telecoms companies.

Robert Cookson has relocated to the UK, after spending three years in Hong Kong as Asia capital markets reporter. His appointment is the latest change to the TMT team, following the appointment of Rob Budden as chief media correspondent and London team leader in July 2012.

Bede McCarthy, currently executive editor of FT.com, will also join the team in January 2013. The new line-up reinforces the FT’s investment in providing readers with insightful news and analysis in these fast-changing and growing industries.

The London-based team is completed by Salamander Davoudi, media correspondent, and Daniel Thomas, telecoms correspondent.
