Corin Rogerson, head of CRM for the Financial Times, has been named one of Media Week’s '30 under 30′ rising stars in the media industry.

The annual list celebrates the rising stars at media brands and agencies who are already making an impact through leadership, strategic thinking, or innovative use of technology.

In an interview with Campaign, Rogerson advised: “I’d suggest that every individual under 30 in the media industry should spend some time outside of it. I began my career at Tesco, where … [f]iguring out how to play to user needs, monetise content effectively and leverage new technologies is core to the success of the industry.”

Rogerson has been at the FT since 2011, in roles including Optimisation Manager and Senior Conversion Manager.
