Businesses across London are to receive targeted news from the Financial Times through ECNlive’s digital display network, which provides information to business audiences in a corporate environment.
FT.com headlines will be projected on ECNlive screens in 150 office buildings across London, reaching more than 500,000 executives. Content will be tailored to reflect the interests of the business – companies including Google and IBM will receive FT updates on technology and media, whereas offices occupied by businesses from a mixture of sectors will see a mix of content.
FT Labs Director Andrew Betts recently delivered a TEDx talk to high school students about how he believes the web will save publishing.
TEDx events are community organised and funded unofficial TED events, but with the backing and approval of TED. This event was organised by five A-Level students from London’s St Paul’s School and gathered leading experts including Rebecca Stephens (MBE), the first woman to climb Everest, and Victor Haghani, co-founder of Long Term Capital Management.
