  • Financial Times launches charity summer spotlight

    The FT is today launching a new charity summer spotlight, linked to our successful annual charity seasonal appeal.

    The summer spotlight profiles the work of two relatively young, relatively small charities doing what we think is interesting work. Charities have been chosen from the pool of applicants to our seasonal appeal, and selected by the FT’s seasonal appeal committee.

  • FT teams up with Unicorn Theatre for London photography competition

    The Financial Times is partnering with Unicorn Theatre, a London-based organisation providing performance and education programmes for children, for its summer 2012 photography competition.

    The competition invited 6-21 year olds to send in their top London images and 20 words explaining what they mean to them. FT photographer Charlie Bibby was a judge and the winners will also get a tour of the FT newsroom, as part of the prize. Winning images are being displayed at a public exhibition at the Unicorn throughout the summer.
