The Financial Times has appointed Dan Bogler president and editor of the newly-acquired Medley Global Advisors (MGA), a premier provider of macro policy intelligence to the world’s top investment banks, hedge funds and asset managers.
Dan Bogler joined the FT in 1995 as a Lex columnist based in London and then New York. He also worked as Asia news editor, financial editor for FT Deutschland and was head of the Lex column before becoming managing editor in 2005. He was previously a speechwriter for the president and COO of Goldman Sachs in New York.
National Readership Survey figures out today show that the Financial Times has once again recorded impressive readership gains, adding an extra 11,000 readers year on year for its weekday editions in the UK.
This represents a 3 per cent rise and is a greater increase than any other quality UK newspaper. The total number of readers in the UK now stands at 442,000.
