
Matt Fottrell
Chief Reader Revenue Officer and President, US
Matt Fottrell leads the Reader Revenue Group, which encompasses all subscriptions, consumer marketing, and customer care teams across the FT Group. Based in New York, he also serves as president of the FT’s US operations, a role he has held since 2018, leading strategy and growth across the region.
Previously, Fottrell was managing director of FT Specialist, where he oversaw all aspects of publishing, including editorial content, product development, and subscription sales and marketing. During his tenure, FT Specialist expanded significantly and acquired a number of successful businesses, including Endpoints News in 2023.
He began his FT career in London in 1999, initially in advertising, and went on to hold a range of leadership roles across business strategy, product innovation, and commercial development.
