Internships at the FT are very popular and we receive a lot of applications, however you will receive an acknowledgement upon receipt of your application.
If your application is of interest, an interview will be requested (in person or by phone). Should you be successful we will notify you within 24 hours. At least a week before you are due to start your placement, you will receive further information and details from us.
If you are unsuccessful this time around, we will notify you by email. Feedback will only be given to those who have made the interview round.
The dress is smart-casual. If there are any specific requirements we will let you know in advance.
Financial Times placements last a minimum of 1 week to a maximum of 12 weeks. Each desk varies upon duration.
We are only able to accept your application for one internship category. We offer placements within our Newsroom, Weekend and Visual Desks and you should think carefully before choosing which one you want to apply for.
