9 August 2016: The Financial Times today announces the appointment of John Kundert as its chief technical officer (CTO), leading the FT’s technology strategy across the development and operations teams.
In his previous role as director of platforms, Kundert was instrumental in establishing the FT’s data platform, which forms the backbone of an award-winning set of data capabilities. More recently, Kundert held a wider cross platform role, extending his reach to universal publishing and membership. As CTO, Kundert will oversee all areas of technology, ensuring that technical strategies and solutions are aligned with business needs and vision.
