Emily Gibbs, the FT’s corporate communications manager, was awarded the European Young Communicators Award at the European Communication Summit. The award recognises outstanding communications projects of nominees under the age of 30 who actively contribute to shaping the future of the communications profession.
Gibbs was recognised for launching the FT’s inaugural Digital Learning Week (DLW). The 2012 event featured a range of internal and external speakers and interactive workshops, creating a dialogue with the FT’s 2500 employees about all things digital and social media. The second annual DLW will be held in September 2013.
