Investors Chronicle, the top UK investment title, announces today the launch of a marketing campaign to promote its new website, www.investorschronicle.co.uk, masthead and branding.
Working with agency onebite, the marketing campaign has been developed to celebrate the Investors Chronicle as ‘Modern Masters of Investing’ by using the publication’s unique investment performance statistics showcased in the style of modern art.
The integrated campaign, aimed at driving new users and readers to the website and magazine, will run in UK retail outlets such as W.H. Smith, Sainsbury’s and in print and online across The Economist, Bloomberg and New Scientist.
Catherine Jacklin, Head of B2B Marketing and Financial Publishing at the Financial Times, said: “This extensive marketing campaign positions Investors Chronicle as the bible of the self-directed investor. During uncertain times in financial markets, the authoritative advice provided by the IC is more important than ever, and the new website provides a fantastic platform for both readers and advertisers.”
Onebite MD, David Hancock, said: “This has been an exciting brief that enabled us to breathe new life into an established and respected title. Investors Chronicle is over 150 years old and we wanted to use that heritage and credibility as a lynchpin to the campaign, combining it with modern art to appeal to a younger demographic that may not be as familiar with the title.”
The Investors Chronicle branding has been refreshed to appeal to a wider audience with a new masthead in both print and online, and to highlight its key focus on providing quality investment advice.
