FT.com managing director Rob Grimshaw spoke at today’s Guardian Changing Media Summit. Along with Videojug’s Tom Laidlaw, Stardoll Media’s Mattias Miksche and Walt Disney’s Catherine Powell, he discussed the theme of next generation technology: how to we stay ahead of the curve?

Rob’s presentation revealed a sneak preview of the FT’s Honeycomb app, due for release in late April. The panel then discussed how digital technologies, digital platforms and digital consumers are continuing to reshape the way we create, deliver and make money out of content. Common ground for all presenters was the importance of mobile, the rise of ‘gamification’ (online games) and the power of social media.
